Winning is not
about reaching the top. It’s about attitude - how you took things in your
stride. Your actions or how you do things make you a true Winner and not just
the labels you are tagged to.
Winning is important, but what’s more important is
how you handle it. It’s much more difficult than it seems. Not everyone is able
to handle win soberly, most of us tend to become proud and pompous about it.
Ever heard of
Winner’s Curse? The winner's curse says that
in an auction, the winner will tend to overpay. The winner may overpay either
by bidding in excess or failing to anticipate the correct asset value, which
happens due to winner’s ego.
There is a saying –
“It’s lonely at the top” which indeed is true because one has to give up so
much in order to reach there first. But my question here is – “Is it worth the
sacrifices you make to reach there and end up being alone?” Why giving up
everything for winning doesn’t make you feel happy and if it doesn’t then is it
worth it? Ask yourself…
For me, Winning is
when I am happy and doing what makes me content without giving up anything. I
am not going to be a part of any rat race, but reach there at my own sweet pace
enjoying the journey which is called LIFE…
