Making the right choice...

Never judge a book by its cover.
Always attempt to read its contents.
Apply this rule in all aspects of your life,
And you will always end up making the right choice.

Life is like a mystery, until you learn how to win it.
Memorize your lessons learnt, so you never repeat your mistakes.
Bigger the problems, better the solutions.
Greater the effort, finer the results.

Nothing is ever wasted in this universe.
Even when your efforts go in vain,
They are getting preserved for future use.

Always spend in your relationships - be it family, friends or colleagues.
You are always going to get back in manifolds.
Always help people in need.
And you will receive the same by unknown means.

Friends...

Know u better than you yourself sometimes,
Understand u better than your family at times,
Have heart to forgive u every time,
Love u without expressing anytime.

This is what FRIENDSHIP is all about

'Sunsilk Natural Recharge' - Review

This is my first Paraben free product and I do realize the difference. The smell of this shampoo is so refreshing and close to nature that it justifies its name - 'Natural Recharge'. The texture of this shampoo is quite soothing and one can feel the softness getting transmitted to hair after applying its conditioner.

The hair felt so soft and fuller after wash that I was not surprised when my colleagues commented - "You are looking different today" and I could instantly answer - "Its just the hair."

The aroma of this shampoo stayed in my hair and kept me fresh all day long.

It contains 'Ginseng' root and oil that contains multiple bio-active substances, which provide strength and growth to hair.

My personal recommendation - For best results, use without oiling i.e. on non-oily hair, to experience its complete effect.

Well this was my experience of this new product from Sunsilk. Now its your turn and I bet you won't be disappointed if at all you are close to nature.

Being GAY

When life shuts one door, it opens two, three and four.
Nothing is wrong, as long as you know how to use them all.

You just need to have an eye and open up your mind.
There will always be doors awaiting your knock.

Finding happiness is like digging deep in earth searching for that one streak of water.
Dig somewhere else if you can't find it here.

Be glad with whatever you have, even if it's far less than what you deserve.
Because even the destiny cannot keep from you, what is yours.

Stick with the ones who understand you and leave the ones who are constantly in process of stopping you from reaching where you belong.
There is so much to do that you can easily overlook the negatives around.

Believe in yourself even if no one else does.
Trust your instincts and go with the flow.

Let anyone pamper you, never deprive yourself from love.
There is nothing better than the feeling of being taken care of.

It's not important how you achieve, but what you achieve.
As it brings with it a sense of joy, and if everyone deserves to be happy, so do you.

Keep going whatever it takes and you will surely reach where you want to, where you have to.

Life is a journey, enjoy travelling in it…

If you would have known me, you would have also known how big travel freak I am. I just love travelling to different unseen places - enjoying their unique lifestyle, dressing style, food and eating habits, distinctive slang and the ambience. Everything from cutlery to bed sheet changes depending upon how farther you travel. Sometimes this distinctiveness can cause hassles nevertheless it always feels memorable at the end.

I am happy not just reaching there, but I enjoy the drive to my destination, because that is what adds to the experience and amusement. For that you need to be equipped with proper gear like your favorite CDs, a comfy car with spare tire and jack, some beverages, ready to eat snacks and a camera. Listening to your favorite track in a car running at or more than 100 Km/h is something you can never experience in a metro city. Stopping and savoring the food of various dhabbas on the way, capturing nature’s beauty in your camera. All this adds to the overall enjoyment.

I am amongst those who prefer Mountains over Beaches and this time I wish to travel to Sikkim and Gangtok. Having heard so much of its beauty and cleanliness I am just waiting for my chance to experience it. Also I find myself a little inclined towards Buddhism and I want to see their Monasteries. Tibetian Market is another attraction for me, as being a girl shopping is always on the list. And rest I am not googling because I prefer word of mouth reviews. Moreover, the charm of exploring avenues is much more than pre-equipped knowledge for me.

But as anyone who has traveled would have realized, travelling is comfortable with advanced bookings, hence I trust only SKYSCANNER to do it for me. What you can book is not only your flights, but hotels and cabs too. After that long flight, you want to settle down first, take a short break to refresh your nerves before heading to the unknown.

Who knows when you will get a lifetime to traverse this path again? Experience most of it and have no regrets when you die.

Happy travelling with family and friends,
For the ones who rove together, reside together.

Being Woman…

Woman – a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a house maker and has many more names attached to her. Woman is a symbol of power and creation – one who is the bestowed with power to create life.
Woman is the reason for existence of every human being. Yet we underestimate her due to our chauvinist and irrational mind. But this discrimination will only provoke her to rise high rather than hide in a closet. That is why; we have a woman leading in every segment of society. From politics to business to sports, we have a woman leading everywhere.
She is well prepared from her ‘lessons learnt’ in past and is all equipped to face the ruthless world.
One day is all we need, to make ourselves heard, to bring about the change.
Enjoy being a woman, despite the unsaid ache.

Happy Women’s Day.

The real essence of Winning...

Winning is not about reaching the top. It’s about attitude - how you took things in your stride. Your actions or how you do things make you a true Winner and not just the labels you are tagged to.

Winning is important, but what’s more important is how you handle it. It’s much more difficult than it seems. Not everyone is able to handle win soberly, most of us tend to become proud and pompous about it.

Ever heard of Winner’s Curse? The winner's curse says that in an auction, the winner will tend to overpay. The winner may overpay either by bidding in excess or failing to anticipate the correct asset value, which happens due to winner’s ego.

There is a saying – “It’s lonely at the top” which indeed is true because one has to give up so much in order to reach there first. But my question here is – “Is it worth the sacrifices you make to reach there and end up being alone?” Why giving up everything for winning doesn’t make you feel happy and if it doesn’t then is it worth it? Ask yourself…

For me, Winning is when I am happy and doing what makes me content without giving up anything. I am not going to be a part of any rat race, but reach there at my own sweet pace enjoying the journey which is called LIFE…

Play with it gal…

Who on earth wouldn't want to play with their hair to look ravishing each day? Doesn’t matter what age we are, we all want to try every possible hair style we see around or on television #DovePlayShyness, as we all have, keeps us from trying any of it.

“Why can’t I just be an actress who gets paid for wearing nice clothes and hairstyle?” This thought is on every girl’s mind. After all, who doesn’t like looking
gorgeous and why not? Every girl deserves the right to look her best. Not everyone can be a MISS UNIVERSE but everyone can be a PRINCESS of their own little homeland. And this isn’t a mammoth task as it seems, only you need to be a little bold and smart enough for it.

What you need is some basic awareness of yourself – your lifestyle, eating habits, stress you are prone to, and the environment around you – these factors contribute a lot to determine your hair type. Now depending upon your willpower you can chose to amend some or all of these factors to improve your overall health and subsequently your hair. After all, good health is a sign of good breeding.

And with nourished hair you can play as you wish. Twirl them, Curl them, Braid them, Color them, Straighten them or leave them open.

"Be what you want to be" with hair that complements your personality.

My first Paraben free shampoo - 'Sunsilk Natural Recharge'

Recently I got into this habit of online shopping, thanks to my office mate, and I was looking for a new hair care product when this 'Sunsilk Natural Recharge' hamper came to me by courier. I had spent some wee hours on a Sunday writing a blog for Sunsilk contest on Indiblogger. I was so impressed by their acknowledgement of my efforts that I tried this product first thing the next morning and got impressed again with their new launch.

Well this was my experience of this new product from Sunsilk, which came to me finding a way on its own. Now its your turn and I bet you won't be disappointed if at all you are close to nature.

Condition Serious Hai

In every group you can find a light-hearted joyful person and a serious moron.

While the joyful wakes up late, readies in 15 minutes and steal the show. The moron will wake up early to do things right, takes unnecessary stress for a leisure trip and ends up waiting for the others.

While the joyful turns – “Happy Go Lucky”, the moron who take things too seriously ends up in one or the other tensions. Their condition keeps getting serious because they are quite serious – after all you will only receive what you transmit.

Being near to such people is also miserable as they won’t let you stay calm since they consider “Calm as Crime.” They would hold onto their troubles forever and won’t let you give up yours. "Arrey Yaar!!! Mere saath hi hamesha aisa kyun hota hai" would be their tag line and they will keep scolding you for one or the other thing.

Life is easy and happier if you have the tendency of “Let go…” Let go the past tensions and enjoy the present, let go somebody’s hurting words and listen for today, let go your past mistakes and amend your future.

Just as joker says in the Batman movie Dark Knight - Why so serious??? Similarly, you should take things lightly in life, even through the toughest times.

Whenever you are tensed don’t act immediately, take a break - have some chocolate, chill in its savoring taste and then think how best to deal with it because best ideas flourish in a cognizant mind.

Be happy and the prosperity follows.

Why do you care???

We think too much, more than what is necessary. Often we ponder over trivial things and ignore the bigger picture, which is LIFE.

How does it matter what others think of you, as long as you are satisfied with yourself. Why do we seek acclamation from others for our achievements and our efforts? This is nothing but a common human nature to seek approval in the eyes of others and when we don’t see it – we become unhappy. The day we start believing in ourselves and become so much confident of our actions that others view of us will not matter, that will be the day of ultimate gratification. People are just like bystanders in your life, so don’t pay them much heed. They will praise you when you rise and condemn you when you fall. So let them make whatever opinion about you, because what matters is what you actually are.
Don't think too much

Be worthy and take responsibility for your actions. This doesn't mean you just stop listening to anyone, it means you listen to everyone and take action which you find is apt for you and then you stand by it because no one has ever stepped in your shoes. Your actions make you what you are, be very aware of what you do each day. You can evolve as a person or you can degrade yourself depending upon the path you chose.

There is nothing bigger than life. You often get upset over petty issues in life and become reluctant to move ahead due to your stubbornness. Do you ever realize the fact that you actually have more than the basic elements to live your life – a comfy home and not just roof above your head, tasty food to eat and not someone’s left over, nice fitting clothes to wear and not some second hand and the list goes on…..Be grateful for all that you have received in your life and make attempts to achieve the rest rather than grumbling about it.

Go after you desires in life, because you deserve it all.

I like everything about you...

If the odds are against you, remember you have me beside you.

If you feel like crying, then please do, for I am there to embrace you.

If you feel like shouting then let it go, for I am there to mollify you.

If you don’t feel like talking, remember that you don’t have to, for I’ll be there when you want to.

If you don't want to wake up from deep slumber, but you have to, then I’ll be there to cheer you.

If you don't feel like laughing, remember this is what I like the most about you.

If you ever feel unwanted, remember I like everything about you.

No matter what anyone says, I always have and I always will love you for what you are.

Recharge your hair, recharge your life...

Hair hair everywhere, not a strand to spill.

This is a common saying on every girl’s mind in Delhi, for there is so much pollution that each one of us faces this hair fall problem. Moreover, climate in Delhi is changing continuously, we have extreme hot and extreme cold weather conditions here, which make it furthermore challenging for the hair growth.

Hence, it becomes extremely important to recharge your hair on day-to-day basis and empower them to face the extreme climatic conditions round the year. This can be done using a good shampoo + conditioner bi-weekly depending on your hair type and history. Keep trimming them regularly to avoid split ends and maintain growth.

Now with your recharged hair, you can do various hair styling that gives you a smart look that enhances your personality and confidence. You may try a different hair style for different occasions – a high pony or a French bun for job interview, braid for a wedding, curls for a discotheque party and just leave them open on a leisure vacation.

Just like face and eyes speak a lot about you, hair also represents your attitude. A well maintained hair is a sign of good breeding and tells a lot about you. So never neglect your hair as you never neglect the rest of yourself.

New Year with a new hope

With new hopes and new dreams we welcome this Year 2014.

With a new government in place, with their new rules & methodologies, this year marks the beginning of a revolution. It fills us with triumph that the coveted change will now happen, because the time is so apt for this change - awareness in people is at peak, with mass movements at Jantar Mantar and Ram Lila Maidan without any provocation.
Senior corporate leaders are chucking up prized jobs and teaming up against corruption to make a difference. V Balakrishnan, the Infosys board member, Meera Sanyal, the Harvard Business School-educated head of Royal Bank of Scotland, Adarsh Shastri, grandson of former Indian Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri and head of sales for Apple in western India, to name a few. And this is just the beginning.
Remember the epic stories our grandmothers, or at least it is said so, used to narrate in our childhood - where a god sent Avatar was born to rescue the oppressed. And here comes a modern Avatar – simple yet vigilant, practical and armed with education, taking calculative decisions to force a checkmate against the corrupt.
With fresh minds pouring in creative ideas, we are no short of Steve Jobs or Bill Gates turning into Nelson Mandela if needed. But the need of the hour is to correct our system and the victory shall follow in all streams of life. We can multiply the impact ten times by hitting the right node at the right time and there cannot be a better time than NOW.
Strive on to the mission started, for the road might be bumpy but the end is not far.
