Hey “Good Morning Neha” I heard from somewhere and pat I replied – “A very good morning to you too” without even noticing who it was.
This is how mechanical we have become in our day to day activities. Guess we are wrongly undertaking the significance of ‘Renunciation’
So here I take the opportunity of dreaming an ideal Good Morning for all of us…
The eyes open to the beams of sunshine and not to the mechanical alarm clock.
Rays of sun bringing in rays of hope for a fresh start of the day.
Oblivious to the awaiting work and deadlines we need to meet,
We feel the bliss of having a roof above our head and a comforting mattress beneath.
The first sound that comes out from the mouth is a sigh of relief - having woken up to a cozy, comfortable, safe surrounding.
With our loved ones either around or just a phone call away.
Then murmuring a prayer to the ‘Almighty’ or the nature.
We get ready to begin our day.
On the way to the office, we appreciate everything - a plant, a flower, a tree, a street dog.
With whom we share our surroundings and the air we breathe in.
Now on reaching office when someone greets us with a ‘Good Morning’
We shall seek time to have a good look and respond in person ‘Very Good Morning Indeed’
And we know now how much we MEAN IT…
